God remembered [zkr] Noah and all the beasts [chyh] and all the animals [bhmh] that were [asr] with him in [b] the Ark [tbh], and God caused a spirit [rvch] to pass [abr] over the earth, and the waters [mym] subsided [skk].

8:2 vyskrv maynt thvm varbt hsmym vykla hgsm mn-hsmym
The fountains [mayn] of the deep [thvm] and the windows [arbh]of the heavens [smym] were closed [skr], and the rain [gsm] from [mn] heaven [smym] was restrained [kla].
