*Commentary: Apparently (it would seem) the original word was "tree"  [ats = "tree"] and not "trees". [D.R.D.]

Genesis 3:24 -  And having driven out the man, He stationed at the east of the Garden of Eden the Cherubim and the flame of the ever-turning sword, to guard the way of the Tree of Life. [The Chumash, (The Stone Edition), 7th Edition - First Impression... June 1997, p. 19]

*Commentary: Ever-turning sword? The word here [for sword] is "chrb" [or cherub]. Thus, what God stationed to guard the way of the Tree of Life? was it the flame of an ever-turning cherub?
